Princess Celestia is an amazing and beautiful female alicorn pony. From the series we get to know that she rules Equestria along with her sister. But Celestia isn’t only a fair ruler. She had been Twilight Sparkle”s and Sunset Shimmer”s mentor in first three seasons. Her residence is Canterlot and formely Castle of the Two Sisters. Her sister’s name is Princess Luna. She is an elder one. Princess Celestia also has an aunt named Princess Cadance. She sometimes says good things about Twilight Sparkle as that time when she was teaching her. One of themajor royal responsibilities is to raise and set the sun. She has got a pet phoenix and its name is Philomena. Celestia is kind, generous, wise, and faithful in her duties. What interesting about her s that this royal pony is a little bit bigger that other characters of MLP, except Nightmare Moon, Trouble Shoes and Steel Buns. She is a magic pony. When Celestia does magic this aura is around her horn and the objects which Princess Celestia’s magic affects. Colours may vary from blue to pink or even white. Her unusual and beautiful name has very interesting meaning. It is from the Latin word “caelum” deriving into “celestial” which literally means “heaven, sky”. Celestia’s mane and her gorgeous tale move even when she stands, but not move when she is weak or unconscious. In one of the series we get to know more about the royal pony.
